#NASHVILLEflood now #OKCflood ???

Posted 14 Jun 2010 in ::Life::

As a lot of you know, we just survived the horrible Nashville Floods, well, I just received word that my hometown of Oklahoma is getting beat up by the rain just as bad as we did here. They had over 8 inches of rain in one hour last night and it’s still coming down. I’m suppose to fly in to visit this Thursday night thru Sunday. Maybe we could look at this as a bad time to go, or a good time, depending on how devastating the damage is. I’ll keep you all posted on ways that you can help from your desk to the grounds. I just pray that everyone is safe and that the damage is minimal to what we suffered here.

Stay tuned, but in the meantime, take a look at the #OKCflood as of 12:00pm June 14, 2010

We went through the same thing here in Iowa 2 years ago (on the same date…how odd!!) It was terrible to watch! We are praying for anyone affected by these floods!!

My love goes out to your home town. It always amazes me how tragedy brings out the best in human nature. It seems like it is the fruit of the experience. Thank you for sharing the plight so others can send their loving thoughts and wishes to uplift all affected. God speed in your Healing Nashville.

Wow, Long Island also gets hit hard with the flooding. It is unbelievable to see what is going on and yet the mainstream media has yet to cover this! Thank you for letting us know what is going on! May God bless you and your family.

Wow! The pictures really speak volumes. I hope the damage and injury is indeed a minimum and be careful. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Wow, this reminds me of driving back into Houston after Hurricane Ike, it was a wasteland. You and your family are in my prayers!

Thanks for raising awareness – these images mean more when you are interconnected through social media. Share this with others who can help to gather more substantial funds to help those who have lost everything. The loss of material goods can be replaced. Not the loss of an individual. I send healing thoughts and intentions of LOVE to all who are concerned, and especially to you and your beautiful family.
